9 NR mule deer points for 72 year old dad

My dad has managed to accumulate 9 NR mule deer points. He will be 72 when we hit the mountains this year and his knee has started to give him a little trouble. He's still able to hike, as we did multiple 5-7 mile days during elk season this year, but I don't know how long that will last and want to go ahead and have him cash in his points. He's had issues with altitude in the past while hunting 1st season on the front range, so I'm thinking a 3rd or 4th season hunt on the western slope. He's coming from Texas, but I live in Longmont. I've hunted units 10, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 30, and 38 for elk and/or deer.

I was looking at unit 22, 3rd season, but the unit looks to be heavily roaded and we aren't really road hunters. I would much prefer plenty of options to hike in a mile or two to get away from road hunters and enjoy some quiet while glassing. Unit 30, 3rd in on my short list. Does anyone have recent experience with either of these units? Is there another unit I should look at?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
